This is more a Crystal Reports question than a VFP/CR question (but the traffic on the support section for CR is pretty low). I figured I had a better chance for an answer here.

I've got a report with a line chart on it. I'd like the X-axis (the "Group") to be a field that contains a date range (eg. 02/07/2002 1:00 PM - 02/07/2002 2:00 PM). I've already pregenerated this field. I've also created a field that is just an integer and is unique for each date range. The problem I've got is when I set the "On Change Of" option to the date range field, CR reorders them so I end up with:

02/07/2002 1:00 PM - 02/07/2002 2:00 PM

then

02/07/2002 10:00 AM - 02/07/2002 11:00 AM

instead of it's original order. That's why I created the integer field, so I could easily sort these other field. I change dchange the "On Change Of" field to point to this integer field instead, but then it displays the integer label. I want my nice date label shown, not the integer.

So, is there some way of telling CR to use one field for it's sort order, and another field for the display? I've been able to do this in normal reports, but I can't figure out how to do this inside of a chart.
