I would try placing the code to create these views in a PRG, drop the views and re-create them using the code in the PRG file. I have used SDT for years and do just what you do and have never had a problem. Do you get an error if you Validate or Redefine the lv_ExpenseByDate view in the SDT Explorer? You can test this by right-clicking on that view and selecting the approprpriate option from the pop-up menu.
