I just ran your code aganst testdata.dbc and got the same incorrect result. In addition that CommandText is truncated to 259 characters, the last 3 characters are a garbage. It's hard to tell if it's a bug or a "feature" because ADOX object isn't listed as supported by VFP OLE DB in the VFP help. Anyway I would submit it as bug to MS.
