Thanks to both of you for the tip. I guess that my resource setting is getting set off somewhere but I can't find where. It's set on and to the default FOXUSER.DBF in the VFP7 start directory when VFP7 starts up. But when I change to one of my app directories or during the execution of the app it must be getting set off or set to another resource file. I've searched for it but nothing is coming up.
