Well, sort of...What I mean is that a cursor can of course have long names too, since it is only a temporary memory creation. But when you create a cursor with long names, then do ALTER TABLE, all long memory names get truncated...it's kind of an odd situation, I guess we're fortunate that ALTER TABLE even works at all on cursors, that it works surprised me the first time I tried it...
