That was a good thought but it did not work. Perhaps the delay in closing involves a discrepancy between the project files and the web site's files. Maybe VS is attemping to resolve the differences but never seems to effect the changes and therefore does it each time I exit the project.

Any thoughts?

>Check under the Tools/Options menu. Go to the Environment tab and see if the Save Changes option is selected. Try to leave using the Don't Save Changes or Prompt to save changes. I know this says when program starts, but it might affect leaving the program too.
