Contact Xitech and ask them for a copy of their Konxise. It compresses and encrypted vfox .exe and is very reasonable. We are using it for your exact reason, so we won't get ripped off.
I am using a "evaluation version" of that right now. I have had one NT workstation user come back and saying the Konxise'd EXE wouldn't run and when I sent an unencrypted EXE it worked. Have you found any issues with Konxise? I can probably live with a workstation here and there not working.
