But, when I was testing this with the Universal Thread maili ng A little remark: the mail I get from the list lately is missing the Date field in the header. My Netscape mailer is extracting the date/time info from somewhere else, so I see it in the messages list, and can sort it accordingly, but it doesn't appear in the normal view of the header. I can see it within this: Received: from mfournier.interax.net ([205.205.57.2]) by web2.transformation.com (post.office MTA v2.0 0813 ID# 0-0U10) with SMTP id AAA115 for ; Wed, 26 Nov 1997 23:40:16 -0500 if I choose showing all headers, but then the header takes up more than half of my screen. Messages before this change had a line like this: Date: Mon, 24 Nov 1997 08:10:17 -0500 I can live without this line, but it was handy, because it helped me decide if it was too late to answer in some cases. Besides, lines in your message got neatly cut into 80-character lines (see the line beginning with a comma in the quote); I've noticed some more messages (including the latest ones) were chopped accordingly. The last regular messages was 26 Nov 1997 19:25:07 -0500.
