I would say yes except that the report prints fine on other printers. Also, I created an .exe that does nothing other than print boxes in different points for testing and it printed fine using the Arial font. I think I have possibly narrowed it down to the font file for Times new Roman or memory????

>>We have reports that have information enclosed in boxes that print fine almost everywhere on HP printers of different types. The reports were designed using LaserJet 4, but the printer information was removed from the frx before compiled in the app of course. However, on a Laserjet 5 the lines/boxes do not print. No font substitution is made either, it is just blank. Any ideas? I have tried widening the lines, ensuring the color is black, and changed the printer to EMF from RAW to no avail (all recommendations from HP's web site). The printer's char set is set to PC8 too.

>Just a wild guess, but on the report could you send the box to the back and the text to the front. This is a choice when in the report designer. IF you put something over something on can be in front and the other behind. Just a shot.
