I've read all the replies ...

What a joke.

Xitec (or whatever) is doing us all "a favor" by making people (you) cough up $400+ US to protect "us" from "them" (ie. their decompiler).

Get a grip. It's called extortion.

(In the "old days", you paid money so you wouldn't have an "accident").

Screw the ******. Publish your findings and get MS to get their act together ... Though that would also be a hard sell because their own reps have acknowledged they can pocket extra change using ReFox to decompile software for clients that have "lost" their source code.

There's no integrity left in the world.

>As you know refox decompiles VFP apps. The makers of it have claimed that once you 'brand' you .exe with a refox password that others can't decompile it. Well after paying for it I found a way around their 'branding'. This really upset me because the only reason I bought it was because I felt forced to do so. When I discovered the way around I told them about it and asked for my $ back. It's been months now and despite all my emails still no response. At one point I told them I would make the work-around public unless they gave me my money back. STILL no response. As it stands I'm tried of waiting for them.
