You are right of course. But currently my external users have full control over the pc they log into via pcAnywhere. This software provides no nore and no less but it does have the advantage of being able to take advantage of ADLS connections which SHOULD give connection speeds greater that analoue or ISDN modems can deliver.
I plan to put passworded version of my operating software on the host pc allowing the external users view to be restricted.
