Thanks, Rex. I'll give it a shot. I've found another workaround, which is to open the offending views in the SDT datasession prior to running the validation. Doug replied to one of my posts saying that should work, too. But it's good to have your solution in my pocket - I'll try them both and see which one is more convenient over time.
