DEFINITELY download and apply SP1.

Read the What's New (all sections) and all of the readme's. There are more than 1.

Some developers have had no trouble at all, while others (not many, but significant) have encountered many problems.
The most common problem has to do with the change of syntax for "LOCAL", now needing commas and also having trouble with array declarations.
Troubles, too, with report previewing by many.

Mine's been pretty good since SP1, but then I don't do lots of fancy stuff.

It takes some getting used to, but I find Intellisense to be useful, especially in reminding me about parameters/options that I generally have overlooked. It does get in the way sometimes too, but overall I run with it active.
