>As you know refox decompiles VFP apps. The makers of it have claimed that once you 'brand' you .exe with a refox password that others can't decompile it. Well after paying for it I found a way around their 'branding'. This really upset me because the only reason I bought it was because I felt forced to do so. When I discovered the way around I told them about it and asked for my $ back. It's been months now and despite all my emails still no response. At one point I told them I would make the work-around public unless they gave me my money back. STILL no response. As it stands I'm tried of waiting for them.

After reading other replies telling you to post the trick. I'll say the same. post it.

Why you should post it. Because if you do how many complaints do you think the makers of ReFox will receive. No one likes bad publicity. They will be forced to do something about that deficiency. So in the end it'll make ReFox better.

By not posting it you do them a favor. So not only did they get your money but you protect their business in spite of the weakness in their product.

Do you really think you're the only one that found a way around their branding? Perhaps you found one that others could exploit without nobody knowing. By making your trick public you'll help the Fox community because the makers of ReFox will be forced to fix this.

For sure it'll make the community insecure for a while but in the end it'll have better protection.
