I've verified that there is an index on t1.Field2
t1.Field2 = .f. had no effect (maybe a little slower)

I discovered something else about this query. See my response to Hilmar for new info.

>I think Hilmar had a good suggestion when he said to use a WHERE clause. I wonder if the WHERE clause you've used is "optimal" (for Rushmore). Maybe ...WHERE t1.Field2 = .F. ... would make a difference????
