I am looking for an INSTALL programs (other than InstallSheild) that uses the Pre-Install vs. Post-Install Comparison technology for differeny versions of windows.

Has anybody here used "WISE Deploy" ? I tried the evaluation, and it crashed as soon as I dropped a folder into the project!!. It also wouldn't let me specify a fixed folder off of the root (it only allows install folder under "Program Files").

The reason I am looking for a pre/post comparison technology, is because we still have a module that is in foxpro 2.x and I am having the hardest time using installsheild to setup;

a) files=200 for open file handles.
b) FoxR memory settings to run the Extended version.
in different versions of windows. Since each version of windows has a different way of setting these things up..
