Hi!

Rollback does not restore original values. It restore values as they were before BEGIN transaction. When you change some value inside of begin..end transaction, it will be restored. Otherwise - not. Transaction here is needed to restore the state of the view as it was before tableupdate(), so all changes remain marked as changes in the view in case you use rollback. In such case RollBack has nothing to restoring fields to original values - this could be done only by tablerevert().

>Buffering is 5. The TableRevert after Rollback is optional, I am just showing to you the possibilities. Rollback restores original values right? But it's not, because I could still see them upon issuing requery() somewhere.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
