If I remember correctly, the VFP runtime is between 5 and 6 Megs. Also, the windows installer is between 1 and 2 megs. Then your .dlls and actual code. 7 megs sounds about right. You might check to see if your including the windows installer in your package. It is readily avaiable on many other sites and is a self extracting and installing package. If it is currently in your distribution, it would make a good candidate to exclude. Also, the runtime only need be installed once, so if you could break it out somehow and make it avaiable separately from you actual program, that would help. Perhaps someone already has a site that make the runtime available as a separate package. Then you could direct your user to it to get the runtime.
