Dear Mike,
Thank you very much for your reply.
You gave me fresh food for thought. I have enough patience and endurance to wait but time is going very quickly (and we became older). I tried used to only legal ways last five years for immigration and all was in vain (OZ, the US, now Canada). All people ask me: If you so wise, why you are here in Russia yet? I can only answer - I am looser... But your replay gives me power to continue study English and IT technology. As said my English teacher in England: Always try to find positive in negative -).
So, I can only wait and improve my skills (but it very difficult to do it so far from hi-technology countries -). Thanks for Internet and communities like the UT.

>I can't speak for other countries, but here in the US it's a very tough time for the whole programming market. Under the best of circustances, it has always been more difficult for foreigners, but right now it's especially bad. Lots of very good programmers who had visas are finding it extremely difficult to hold on to their sponsors. Whenever the recovery comes, hopefully things will return to a situation where talented foreign programmers like yourself will find it easier to get in. Don't take it personally. I'm sure you'll find a more receptive atmosphere if you have enough patience and endurance to wait.

>It is nice to be able to speak with you through UT and the other forums we can get to so easily via the web. It's ironic that we can feel so close across the world, and yet there is so much distance between us. I'm very sorry for that.
