David,

I know Markus pretty well and we exchanged some emails about another problem that VUML has using the particular (some might even call it peculiar *s*) class hiearchy this place decided to use well before I got here.

>Regarding the reverse engineering, it's functionality is currently quite limited and somewhat unpredictable. Supposedly that is changing very soon with the next release. I had been emailing back and forth with EPS for a week or two about suggestions for changes, and I know they made a number of modifications - we'll have to wait and see how deep they go. If you'd like a summary, go to the EPS site, and search for my name. A thread sometime in the last month has a response from EPS with the updates. But alas, that answers none of your issues, so I'll give them a try:

ok so it's not just me *g*

Just that the tree view of the class structure doesn't reflect the changes to the methods either.

Maybe the work around is to do this I'll maybe play around with it when I get a chance:

1) Take the original model and export it to XML
2) Create a new model using rev-eng
3) Export it to XML
4) programatically take the class definition part of the new model and put it over the top of the class def part of the original model
5) Import the XML back into the the original model
