In the container which holds the textbox just place an asterisk in the resize event code. this will prevent the container from passing the message. Regarding columns... you must have a grid in your toolbar right? Thats living on the edge! This must be a wild and wacky guy. Sorry got carried away with the grid on toolbar reality check, Columns should isolate the textboxes top an left properties just like the container, plus you really cannot muck around with column top and left. I think this may work. I have tested the container/textbox in the floating toolbar and it changes shape like a shape shifter.
