ok back
>>You have provided all files that are not included in the project?
yea all that I know of, we are on a network and on the server I have a standard folder that has all the local runtime files. That folder was copied from my computer (WinNT 4.0 and no errors here) to the server and then copied down to each workstation (no foxuser.dbf or config.fpw) and works fine on all most every computer with or without VFP (full) installed (of course all PC’s have the runtime files)
the PC’s that error I develop on all of them (I still have one that I develop on that never errors);
one WinNT 4.0 (connected to the network) my laptop win98 (not connected) and my home PC win98 (not connected) all have the full version of VFP they all error.
now we have 2 more PC’s (WinNT 4.0 and connected) with the full VFP install that never error.
>>Are you setting a temp directory?
I don't think so, I was under the belief if you don't set a temp dir then FoxPro will use the windows default temp dir
>>Any obvious differences in the environment of the machine it dose work on (this isn't the machine the app was developed on is it?)
no differences that I think of
wow I think I knida confused myself
