Marcia:
I ran into this one ages ago and took it up with Jim Saunders. I thought it was going to be resolved in SP1 but it wasn't. The = sign (preceeding) does work. I have a production app that has been using this workaround for some time. This very issue kept this particular application of mine in VFP6 for some time longer than it should. As I recall, this is an Outlook 2000 issue with VFP7. If you use a later version of Outlook, the problem doesn't exist. However, if you move to a later version, while you might fix the move problem, you just just can't send an email using automation without Outlook asking you if its OK every time :(
Good 'ol MS. Cant work out why VFP7 introduced the move problem but VFP6 worked as you expect?

I think you can do it without the variable, too -- just precede it with the equals sign.>
