That's true. I forgot microsoft considers pings as a DOS and does not accept them. Either way though, I asked you to do that to confirm that you were seeing the same address resolution.

Check with your firewall administrator to see if and why your connection isn't going through. Also, try going to the following website:

http://www.nirhb.bc.ca

Hopefully it won't work. If it doesn't work send me your source IP address (the client's IP) and I'll check it against my own firewall to see if there is a problem. Your firewall may be using address transformations or NAT and the website firewall on the other end is rejecting the "fake" IP address. Of course if it is only happening on W2K machiens it must be a client side setting. Have you checked your TCP/IP properties to make sure that you do not have filtering or IPSEC enabled?
