I was using a flex grid up until now but I tried the code with a heirarchial flex grid and it still didn't work. I ended up with a non fixed row showing when trying to clear the structure. I have a 3rd party OCX that does what I need but it is kind of klunky and I prefer to use the intrinsic controls where possible.
