The project has both, but what I meant about not using DEs is not open and closing by default tables contained therein, but using load and unload with commands like, if not used("programs"), use programs in 0, endif.

All the problems I can remember with no update have been with the scx forms.

I've never observed problems before with a table that has just had a record inserted being used in select statement where the select statement output doesn't include the new record. But if you close and reopen it is there then.

I've always used DEs to open and close or in Web environment data is closed after every hit.

Any ideas?
