I asked a number of times what was causing the problem but never received an answer. At first, I though it was referencing (mail) objects in an array using FOR EACH but, that was apparently fixed in SP1 so that wasn't it. Besides, I re-wrote the code in question to reference the mail objects differently (not using FOR EACH) and it still didn't work. Suffice to say, Jim S didn't provide the workaround until after SP1. I kinda get the feeling that they thought they had fixed it in SP1 until I tried it again <s>.

However, it is clear that SP1 allowed the = fix to function because that was never ever raised prior to SP1 and I just wouldn't have thought of that fix in a million years.

By the way, when's the book out? I have Kilofox - I didn't read it end to end. I just look stuff up as and when. But, the new book sounds like more of a read. I guess its discussing areas that are more in my area of interest nowadays.
