>I have to agree with others. Cape Canaveral (it's not longer called Cape Kennedy, but just the Kennedy Space Center), it a must. Even if there are no launches, its well worth it. I highly recommend you pay the price for the two tours. One takes you to old Cape Canaveral, where the Mercury and Gemini programs were launched. The other is the new area. I saw part of the International Space station being built, a shuttle on the launch pad. The Apollo exhibit alone is worth the price of admission.
Echo that. Of all the impressive things at KSC, and there are a ton of them, perhaps the most impressive is walking out of the Apollo exhibit's orientation video to find yourself looking up at the business end of a Saturn V rocket. Then imagine yourself strapped into the top of that thing...
