Christof is a very, very, valuable and well respected member of the Foxpro community. He obviously was a little aggrieved, irrespective of the correctness of his position. After reading these posts, not armed with all the facts and frankly speaking, accepting that they are none of my business, I felt your position and argument was totally vindicated. I think Christof was perhaps a little rash in the "heat of the moment". It happens to the best and the worst of us.

However, when you make statements like :-

>I'm beginning to question if we are doing the right thing by trying to provide >an affordable, well supported UML tool for the VFP community.

you just dropped down a million miles in my estimation. What has this petty squabble got to do with the rest of the Foxpro community that you have to make a veiled, crass threat like this to the VFP community?

With this type of attitude, it wouldn't surprise me if the VFP community told you precisely where to stick your product. Get it right - you are not doing your customers, present or future a favour. It is the other way around and you would be well advised to think about this basic business tenet the next time you throw your "toys out of the pram" and make such a childish remark to your customer base, potential or otherwise.
