Bah. For some reason I ahd to specify the job_aspect as well even though the sp is supposed to default to null if it does not receive a value. Beats me but it works now. I think saw on an earlier thread that you have to specify the NULL even if the sp default is NULL as it only plugs in the default when working with SQL Analyzer. then again I might just be crazy.
