I am trying to run the sample program from Alex Feldstein's article, "Understanding the Crypto API" in the Mar/Apr 2002 issue of CoDe. When the sample program gets to the line x = CREATEOBJECT("docryptoapi.docrypto") I get an OLE error code 0x80004005 on an NT machine and a similar error on the same line when I tried it on a 2000 os. The problem seems to be similar to the one that Rick Borup was having in #625062. When I build the DLL I see the message that DLL is being registered also I have done a manual register with REGSVR32 and the message says it was successful. Any ideas?
