For the report designer, you generally use two overlapping textboxes, and manipulate the PrintWhen expression, so for the red textbox you have nAmount<0, and for the blue you have nAmount>=0. Things become complicated if you want more colors, because then you need one textbox for each color, and navigating among them is a nightmare in report designer, as they sit on each other.
