Alternately, hold F8 while booting and choose Safe Mode w/ Command Prompt, it's equivalent to what you get by boot floppy, only faster. You also have unique chance to do a regular uninstall of Outlook Express and NetMeeting (IOW, to delete the files in these directories - there's NO UNINSTALL for these at all).

Another tip here is to edit the desktop.ini in content.ie5 directory and just change the GUID line to something benign. The directory will function just the same, but will not play hide and seek anymore.
