Is the question "How can i blank the input control to type in a new record?

If yes - the answer is: Create a blank record (i.e. APPEND BLANK) and fire MyForm.REFRESH() to show the empty record!

BTW: All the otehr stuff (enabling/disabling of buttons...) is only necessary for keeping the GUI control in the right state!
