Bob,

Sergey posted this link in the VFP section -- I am not sure if you saw it or not.

http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=460986/ut=d8fe4b0b06489695/

It has MSDN professional for $748.95 from buy.com. There may also be a $110 rebate if you get it on DVD vs. CD, but they don't mention it -- that might be if you get it direct from MS (MS price is $899-$110 DVD rebate, I guess).

Still expensive when I don't plan to produce any .NET solutions for the next year or so!!

Kevin

honestly don't know and I'm facing that decision myself. I got this MSDN Univeral subscription last year through the Microsoft ISV program for about $500. They no longer offer that discount (at least as far as I can find) but I did get a questionnaire from them last week where MSDN discounts were rated as to level of importance.

I can't justify renewing the Universal at the full price, so I will probably go for the Professional level. I've got a few months to think about it. The problem is that (like so many things) there is that little goodie in the next level up that you would just love to have.

If I get any more info on available discounts I'll let you know. Do the same if you hear of anything.
