We use ANETHELP, available at www.anetusa.com as shareware (limited to 20 modules). The licensed version is about 100-.

ANETHELP does a slick job, making it painless to create help files. It works with 3 and 5, although for 5 you still need to use the Help workshop, but ANETHELP has done 95% of the work, including all the slug work.

ANETHELP is written by displaced Russian Defense Programmers and we have found it reliable and comparable to what we expected if we had bought Robohelp or any of the other high priced alternatives.
