Hi Paul,

We did run Analyze.exe; it reported no problems in the database. I'll try it again in the morning.

We're running VS6 SP4 (not SP5) and VFP7.0 SP1 ... should we put VS6 SP5 on? And if so, should I reapply the VSS6.0c updates?

>>Recently, we've been seeing a tremendous slowdown when getting the latest source files from Visual Source Safe. We're using VFP7SP1 with VSS6.0c on a Win2000 machine.
>>
>>We have one large a large project that is the repository for source files used by multiple other projects, containing around 1700 files (PRGs, VC?s, SC?s, etc). It now takes about 20 minutes for VFP/VSS to cycle through the project list on the VSS server machine; it used to take just a few minutes. Also, some of our client machines also take close to the 20 minutes to do the get for the entire project, while other client machines take as little as 8 minutes. We have tried archiving the project and removing the old versions.
