That masked edit control is capturing the keypress event and deciding which characters are allowed and what is not. What i NEED is a Pre-Formatted text box. Similar to what we give in VFP with picture cluase. I just hope it was possible. That would really be nice. Any experts listening?

[BTW : i believe there are these few (or numerous) enhancements just necessary to these WinForm controls? like 1. Menu icons with Menu items? 2. Icons on status bar panels? 3. A real easy to configure DataGrid without a large effort on TableStyles and DataGridGridCoulmnStyles? Believe me, for a regular programmer its too much of an effort beyond grasp to say work with OwnerDraw. I just believed by default that these "features" would be there in such a huge thing called MS.NET. Not that I am complaining. I love what we have now with .NET. I even say, real happy days ahead for pragrammers. But what about these day-to-day required things? Will they be there in V2? Or shall we put them in "I just need them" WishList? (Where to put our wishlist for MS?) or is this a marketting technique from MS to let the third parties too have a cake?]
