The sample PRG I got from the MS site contains what appears to be a
reference to a field in the recordset called "_RecNo". From what
I can see, it appears as if this field may not always be there, but
if itis present, contains the record number.

Do you know what this is? Do you know how/when I can expect this
field to be there?

F_RECNO_FIELD is defined as "_RecNo"
