I recently changed ISPs from gateway.net to worldnet.att.net. Now my email application for a blind person fails to disconnect when I call osession.signoff (the sign off method of the session control). Also another Internet connection that I make to get dictionary meanings from Merriam Webster with west wind wwwipstuff has the same problem. ohttpclose() doesn't hang up the phone.

Is this ATT's way of keeping folks on the line so that their minutes will go up? Any suggestion will help. Stressed out and trying to help out my mom stay in touch with her friends. Am I missing a method to close connection? Also tried some calls from wininet with the same result. Is there a way to substitute a generic dialer in place of the one supplied by an ISP?
