I've been using an HP 4020i CD/R for a while and what you want is fairly simple.
Except that you can't right directly to the CD (maybe with other models).

What you would do is to create a "netsetup" on your server or local hard drive
then, using the CD/R software, "burn" that directory onto the CD.

At least, that's how *I* would have to do it. But, like I said, it's pretty straight
forward.
