Armin,

I have a virgin XP machine and I installed a virgin copy of VFP7 and recompiled the app. Still no luck.

Reluctantly, I finally tried the minimalist approach that you had suggested earlier and created a new project that had only one main.prg that only called a menu that only had one pad and "Voila" I got a picture!

Now I have to go through my main.prg code in my real app to see what might be turning the picture off.

I'll let everybody know what I find.
