I understand your concern. <g> Fortunately the runtime will already be on the boxes so the only 'hit' would be my little app. I got it to work yesterday as a service on my computer when starting up. Now all I need to do is figure out how to trap for a shutdown. Fortunately I have a local fellow who's a very bright programmer and knows C++ and the Windows API well enough to create a little program for me if I can't come up with a VFP-based approach.
