I was curious about your problem so I tried a little test... don't know if this will answer your problem, but here's what I did: In the grid, I specified the Rowsource as "Alias." In the column to show the .BMP, I set the ControlSource to the name of the general field containing a .BMP. Then I created an OLE bound control in that column and set its Controlsource to the general field. Next I went back to the column and set the Currentcontrol to be the OLE bound control. When I ran the form, the .BMP appeared! I hope this works for you, too.
