The worst thing is that you're probably not the only one that made that move. It reminds me of a slogan thet "Lee Jeans" had some years ago

Lee Jeans never die they just fade away. Is that what's happening to the VFP community?

>Hi Jim,

>That's right - all I was doing was making an observation based on the presentations I witnessed. My comment about VFP being an afterthought was based on the fact that it was totally overlooked in (1) the 'history of programming languages discussion and (2) the exclusion of VFP from the list of products included the MSDN subscriptions. That's not rumor or gossip - it's fact.

>A few years or so ago, this would have bothered me - but the fact is that some time ago I resigned myself to VFP's place on the totem pole at MS and as a result, jumped on the VB bandwagon. The primary reason I did so was because my chances of continuing to put food on the table are better if I have the skills that the market is demanding. In my neck of the woods, it ain't VFP.

>>He simply reported an observation - a fact. There's no uncertainty in facts. There's no doubt in facts. There might be some fear generated BY THE FACT. Are we better off to ignore warning signs and proceed along our merry way??? When my car's fuel guage sits at empty, I go get some gas, I don't tell it to stop scaring me.

>>Anyone reporting facts that are not positive is accused of whining or spreading FUD. To me that's a good sign that there is trouble in paradise.
