I have an application which gets installed on many different computers. This application makes use of the calendar control (MSCAL.OCX). My installation includes this file, installs it and registers it. However if the target system happens to have a newer version (WIN XP) it will not overwrite the newer version.

Is there any way that I can install my version of MSCAL.OCX separately for the use of my application? I don't want to overwrite the users newer version but I do want to rely on the behavior of my controls.
