My partner and I are locked in an argument about NULLs. Does anyone out there know if they actually take up hard disk space as a table grows? For example, if I have a table with 100 rows and 10 fields that accept NULLs. If I fill in a value for only one field and leave the rest undefined, does MS SQL actually take up hard disk space set aside for the NULL's?
Thanks for any insight!
Jose
