What I need to do though is set the cursor size/shape for all text boxes on all forms as a default value. I still have some @...say screens running via .sprs in the VFP environment (in the middle of a major conversion) that I need to change the cursor size/shape in.

>VFP allows you to set the mouse pointer for controls using the MousePointer and MouseIcon properties. Using MouseIcon of 99-Custom you can specify the .cur file to use. Now this is on a control by control basis so you'll have to do some work to get them converted once the user selects the cursor they want.
