George,

I was just looking at the log file through the Event Viewer Utility. I'm not sure what file it's reading. I can't open any of the .log files that have been recently updated because they are in use. On NT4 the data seems to be stored in \WinNT\System32\Config.

I'll have to look at the VFP7 log file when I get home tonight.

>I was thinking about the LogEvent() function, unfortunately, however, it doesn't seem to have a parameter that would allow it to trap the shutdown event.

>: core is being shut down by WinMgmt.exe, it returned 0x0(Thu Mar 21 08:53:41 2002)

>Side-note: Have you noticed that VFP 7.0 tracks C0000005 errors? I found vfp7err.log in the main VFP directory. I wonder what, if anything we're supposed to do with it. Only one or two entries had any message that provided anything but the occurrence. In my case, there's only one after I installed SP1.
