Definately check out the books available at www.hentzenwerke.com -- the Hacker's Guide is extremely helpful as are all of their books. The tough part is deciding which to get! I use 1001 Things...... A LOT! And Fundaments is a must, and..... well Those 3 Hacker's Guide, Fundaments and 1001 Things (also called KiloFox) will give you an excellent start! And you get an electronic version which you can have always at your computer based finger tips!
